Design
In our design process, we have utilized acoustic simulation software to achieve optimum acoustic performance.
Our pods have an area of 60% covered polyester fiber sound-absorbing material. They follow the standard for environmental classification.
Design value: Rw + Ctr 30 dB (+5 dB) and RT0.75 s (+ 0.1 s).
Based on non-vulcanized butyl rubber, covered with self-adhesive PE adhesive fabric surface, the modular felt material is moisture resistant, anti-mold, easy to clean and maintain. Our material selection combined with design adjustment has enabled us to find the best relationship for sound absorption, noise, and vibration insulation.
The pods use double pane glass for the desired noise reduction performance.
The surface of our insulation panel is covered with a Korean-made nanometer PP facing, which has high resistance to friction, ultraviolet rays, fire, and moisture.
We have provided the pods with a cable hole on the outside if data and power transmission are needed. The hole can be closed when it is not needed to avoid sound flanking.
Air ventilation system with a maze-like interior layout to ensure the necessary air circulation in three minutes while preserving the sound insulation properties of the pods.
Our bottom panel is equipped with our own damper block for better vibration and structural cage noise.
Our pods are equipped with 12 V-USB power supply and are rated for 100-220V / 50HZ which meets the usual equipment requirements. Possibility to choose a different power supply is possible.
Our pods are equipped with a 4000 K daylight color temperature LED lighting system (150 LX) which meets the needs for normal activities. In the event of additional power requirements, there is a reserve power supply inside the pod.
Only one type of fastener is used for installation, which makes the installation of our booths easier. We also have clear installation videos that clearly show how everything is supposed to be assembled.

Our Vision
Today’s workplaces have problems with noise levels. Open-plan offices are intended to encourage spontaneous collaboration, but studies indicate that they achieve the exact opposite. They show that open floor plans in offices tend to cause employees to lose the quality of work and become less productive due to noise disturbances affecting employees with stress, depression, headaches, and concentration problems.
Mutepod was formed to solve these problems by simply reducing the sound. Our vision is to provide an environment where creativity can flow without any interruptions. By offering insulated pods and smaller rooms, a private zone is created to improve both creativity as well as focus and contribute to a solution that facilitates stressful and loud environments.
